Circular Economy and re-use of materials
420,000 tons of wood recovered and 360,000 tons of chipboard panels produced each year :the principles of sustainable development constantly guide the choices and actions of the Fantoni Group. Here, circular economy is expressed as a system-wide vision in which the greatest strength is the cascading use of wood for chipboard panel production and where materials, components and products are recovered acquiring new value within the cycle of production and consumption.

FSC®: LEGALITY AND THE CHAIN OF CUSTODY
The choice to obtain FSC® Chain of Custody certification serves to fulfil the need for transparent product traceability, and reflects an assumption of responsibility by the wood/furniture sector.
FSC® traceability
Fantoni products, be they panels, laminates, impregnated papers, furniture or sound-absorbent systems, are FSC®-certified and offer the market a guarantee of the source of the timber used, thereby providing precise, transparent and controlled proof of the company’s active contribution to responsible forest management. This helps to combat illegal wood trading practices and especially the illegal harvesting of trees, but it also leads to concrete advantages for local communities and workers, by ensuring economic efficiency and socially-responsible management.
